During her 17 years at The Hand & Flowers, Katie has worked within almost every team in our business, and we are incredibly proud to call her our Restaurant Manager. Alongside managing the busy Hand & Flowers, Katie’s achievements include winning The Acorn Award in 2019.

Andrea is a pillar of knowledge within the Tom Kerridge Group, having worked at Lush by Tom Kerridge and then working as part time reservationist, Andrea was promoted to Head of Reservations. Andrea and her team are the gateway for our guests into the Tom Kerridge experience.

Gavin Hills

Assistant Restaurant Manager at The Hand & Flowers

Gavin joined The Hand & Flowers in 2010 with his wife when the pub had one Michelin star and two years later was promoted to Head Waiter, before becoming Assistant Restaurant Manager in 2017. Gavin qualified WSET level 3 has looked after the wine list for over a decade, focusing on old & new world wines with a broad interest in elevating guests experiences in what they drink especially in the English wine category.

Having moved from her Head Chef role at The Bull & Bear, and being Head Chef at The Coach, Sarah has taken on the very exciting role of Head Chef at The Hand & Flowers. Sarah was Michelin's Young Chef of the year 2023. She's an amazing chef, leader and an asset to the Tom Kerridge Group.

Brad has been part of the Tom Kerridge for over 8 years, working at The Hand & Flowers as Senior Sous Chef. Brad has now taken on his first Head Chef role at The Coach in Marlow. He's excited to bring new dishes to the menu, as well as leading the great kitchen team that he has around him.

Head Chef

In 2019 Tom Childs joined the team at Tom Kerridge’s London restaurant, Kerridge's Bar and Grill sited within the prestigious Corinthia London. Starting as a Junior Sous Chef, over his five years he has risen through the ranks and now takes the position of Head Chef.

Tom has created a totally new menu launched in June 2024, which sees a series of exceptional new dishes which both retain the Kerridge’s ‘DNA’ while fully embracing the best of British seasonal ingredients with a nod to classic cookery.

Head Chef of The Chalk Freehouse

Having joined The Hand & Flowers in 2012, Tommo’s journey has taken him to The Coach in 2014, where he was part of the team who achieved a Michelin Star, before he subsequently became Head Chef. Tommo returned to The Hand and Flowers as Head Chef and was heading up the kitchen for four years. He has now moved to open our newest venture, The Chalk Freehouse in Chelsea and is excited to build a team of eager and passionate chefs.

Tom Kerridge Careers Meals From Marlow 01

Meals from Marlow

Meals from Marlow was created at the start of Lockdown to provide support for Key workers and those in need both in Marlow and surrounding towns during the pandemic.

The scheme has so far provided over 100,000 meals, by working with the NHS and many community organisations both within Marlow, High Wycombe, Slough, Maidenhead and other local areas.

The project is now being formalised as a permanent charity to provide support for those in need in the region. We plan to continue to work closely with local organisations and charities to ensure that the meals produced find their way to those most in need, relying on our partners' experience and expertise to support our neighbours each and every week.

Little Discoveries

In February 2021 Tom announced his participation in creating short films with Save the Children UK and Discovery RISE called Little Discoveries, raising awareness and funds for those most in need during the pandemic; the kids💛

When COVID-19 hit, Save the Children worked closely with communities to establish families’ greatest needs. They found that school closures, job losses and economic hardship posed a severe threat to children’s learning – especially for families already living on low incomes.

Tom is helping by creating short cooking videos with Discovery called ‘Little Discoveries’ which aims to get kids cooking some simple but delicious meals at home. There are other videos available in the ‘Little Discoveries’ series each presented by an expert host who will show you some fun family-friendly activities we can all do indoors.

Full Time Meals

Marcus Rashford and Tom Kerridge are proud and excited to announce the launch of our ‘Full Time’ campaign, supported by Facebook and Instagram.

Marcus has been doing a phenomenal job in shining a bright light on the nation’s child poverty issue and continues to fight for systematic change and Government support. His formation of the Child Food Poverty Taskforce has brought together the biggest players in the British food industry, to stand united in finding a long-term sustainable framework to combat child food poverty across the UK.

This is a cause that is close to Tom's heart. Whilst Marcus and Tom are from different generations, they share a lot of similarities in their journey to success. Tom also grew up in a single parent household on a council estate, his mum worked 2 jobs and, although he never went without food, times were difficult, and money was tight.

It’s heart breaking to think that 4.2 million children in the UK are living in poverty, no child should go to bed hungry but today, far too many do. We live in the third largest economy in the world – it’s time to call full time on child food poverty.
